@itsjustarumour Sorry for the delay, but I have finally installed roughly 98% of the software that was listed in the file you attached, and the gnome-panel still loads for me just fine. The only programs I did not install were a couple requiring a PPA (abiword for example), and a few I have had installed in the past without trouble (such as AWN and Evolution). Do you have any updates on this issue?
