Ok it does work. (But i had to right-hand click on the Mute button and tick 'main outs'). Wouldn't it be more intuitive if either: -Main outs was set to be the selected option as default, so users wouldn't become frustrated because it doesn't seem to work. -Or If no options are ticked then when you click the mute button it asks which one would you like to tick.
