I get the same issue. Current 9.10 (as of 2/23/10). The white rectangles are actually windows that haven't really been drawn - I was able to copy/paste the (invisible) text from it, which is (on 2 different occasions):
"Unable to mount 993 MB Filesystem" and "Not Authorized" You can close them by guessing where the [X] button is (upper right of rectangle) but none the less this it's annoying (probably much moreso to those who can't troubleshoot it on their own). My wife and I use the same computer..wonder if 9.10 is jealous of married couples. ;) ** Attachment added: "Screenshot.png" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/39746423/Screenshot.png -- second user ends up with white rectangle on desktop that can not be removed without logging off. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/521955 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
