Therefore, would it be possible for you to confirm if you can still reproduce this bug with latest ubuntu version? The latest ubuntu version is currently ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala.
If you can still reproduce the bug, can you also verify if this bug happens with any other operating system than Linux only to confirm that this is not related to a hardware failure?
