Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

I use a DLINK DNS-323 network access drive. Under Ubuntu 8.04 LTS, Open
Office was always able to open and save files to this network drive.
Previously, clicking on an office document on the network drive opened
it in Open Office. I recently upgraded from 8.04 LTS to 8.10 with no
problem. However, when I then upgraded to Ubuntu 9.04, Open Office no
longer opens or saves to the network drive. The files are visible in
Nautilus. Clicking on the files in Nautilus causes the Document Viewer
to open with an error. I can browse to the files from the Open Office
/file/open menu, but instead of opening, there is only an untitled
document. Other programs such as the pdf viewer and image viewer can
still open files from the network server. Open office Files on the local
hard drive still open and save correctly. It is tedious to have to drag
every file from the server to the local drive in order to edit it and
then drag it back to the server. I'm not sure if this is an OO problem
or an Ubuntu issue, since they were upgraded together automatically. I
have upgraded the most recent version of firmware (1.8) on the DLINK
DNS-323 but it did not help. Please help me fix this. Thanks.
