Noscript is crack and it's author has been caught putting very questionable
code in. If people have noscript installed my answer is always to
remove/disable it if they want support. That said, this design for oauth via
the browser causes plenty of confusion for users (much of it comes from a
broken xdg-open), and we are working on changing the auth mechanism to
happen in the control panel app instead of the browser so that it's less
scary and fragile. The fundamental model using oauth is not currently
changing though, we're just making it harder to notice.
