Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

My Acer Aspire 5740-5513 laptop does not dim when AC power is removed
and is relying on battery only. I don't know if this is specifically a
gnome-power-manager problem or something to do with the acpi subsystem
in general.
