I am sorry. I did realize you were unable to get to the login screen. At the grub menu, hit the arrow keys to highlight the menu line. Then hit 'e' on the keyboard. Arrow down to the line that starts with 'linux /boot/vmlinuz ....'. Hit 'end' to go to the end of the line, then backspace to get rid of quiet splash. Then hit Ctrl+x to boot the system. You will now be able to see any errors on the screen. Either copy these down exactly as they appear, or take a photo of the screen to attach to the bug report. There may be many lines of text, but the system should stop when it hits the error that causes the freeze.
