Thank you for the response. In Lucid, the Interface tab has been removed from the Appearance settings. If you wish to enable/disable icons in menus, you must run 'gksu gconf-editor' then navigate to 'desktop' > 'gnome' > 'interface'. Then you will find a check box for icons in the menus.
While testing this on a Live USB of Lucid Alpha 3, my icons were disabled in menus by default and I could not enable them, so hopefully you will have better luck. However, on Karmic I was able to disable/enable icons in the Firefox menus without any trouble. If you are able to test this on Karmic and/or Lucid, please let us know what you find. -- Ignore settings in Appearance of showing icons https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/424711 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
