There has been no activity on this bug for a while. Is this issue still reproduceable with either Ubuntu Karmic 9.10 with latest updates installed, or Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 alpha 3? If you use kubuntu, substitute for kubuntu for the above versions. Could you also please run the apport-collect command requested in Pedro's last comment?
