I had found the problem is the /tmp corrupted.

In my case, ubuntu crash after open Mozilla run some java APP.

i had no choice to force shutdown my laptop.

After reboot , this bug happened!

after boot
press ctrl+alt+f1 
gointo "console tty0 mode"

cd ~/
ls

found the directory tmp is abnormal size

drwxrwxrwx root root 141264747 2010-01-03 tmp


rm -r -f tmp
mkdir tmp
chmod 777 tmp
ls

drwxrwxrwx root root 4096 2010-01-03 tmp

/etc/init.d/gdm restart

yahoo! problem solve!

I love linux!  i hope i got time make something useful, but i don't
enough money to spend..lolz.gosh..i.hate my life..
