hello again w1zard, thanks for your posting & help. yes i confirm. if i downgrade to gnome-power-manager_2.28.3-3_i386.deb the "bug was solved" - but, the update-manager takes the new version if i make lucid-updates. now, i "log in" to the version-number. in synaptic. whereby i see how i can "log off" the gnome-power-manager_2.28.3-3_i386.deb - gladly you send me a PN. thanks over again and a nice day for all readers
