'lspci' shows that my wireless hardware (on an Acer Aspire 5737z) is: 11:00.0 Network controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR928X Wireless Network Adapter (PCI-Express) (rev 01)
When I use the ath9k module installed by the linux-backports- modules-2.6.31-19-generic package, the wireless connectivity "freezes" for a few seconds every time wpa_supplicant logs CTRL-EVENT-SCAN- RESULTS. When the linux-backports-modules-2.6.31-19-generic package is purged and I use the modules provided by linux-image-2.6.31-19-generic, it is better but not 100%. It no longer freezes every 2 minutes, but it still happens regularly (several times an hour). Hope this helps someone :) -- wpa_supplicant CTRL-EVENT-SCAN-RESULTS crashes ath9k wireless driver https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/460886 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
