Hi duanedesign The computer is a desktop and I don't use either sleep or hibernate on it at all. The only other thing that may happen is a screensaver kicking in. I have looked at the other bug you mention and the only possible similarity would be if my broadband wired connection through a Netgear Router had gone down and up during this period but I don't know how to check this and saw no other evidence of this happening. I have run the commands you suggested and will attach the logs once ubuntuone completes the updates.
