stlubuntu, The developers for the braesero thinks they have found the cause of your bug. They wish to know if this is happening for all music CDs that you have or not. Particularly, they suspect that the problem is related to CDs that have what is known as CD-TEXT. Maybe older music CD does not trigger the crash?
