Status in Desktop session recorder: Confirmed Status in “istanbul” package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: When I try to record a screencast with istanbul the applet loads correctly and I can click the start record icon, but when I try to stop recording I cannot do it. The Istanbul icon changes to a disk indicating it is saving, but nothing ever happens. It has frozen, and needs to be killed. This occurs only when the Record Sound option is enabled. WORKAROUND: Disable the Record Sound option.
