setting to confirmed due to the number of affected users. It looks like the Ubuntu archives are structured a bit different here than the Debian archives. As such, Eduard may not feel like fixing this in Debian itself. In that case, a diff should be pushed for Ubuntu to adjust the file pattern regexep.
Eduard, do you think this would be appropriate to fix in Debian or do you prefer this to be a Ubuntu-only change? While we're at it, I'd like to add that for the same reason, it's not possible to download the current alternative Ubuntu CD when running jigdo-lite by the apt-cacher-ng proxy. There are about six files that are blocked by the regexp IIRC. To verify, add "wgetOpts='--passive-ftp --dot-style=mega --continue --timeout=30 -e http_proxy=http://acngIP:3142 ftp_proxy=http://$acngIP:3142'" to ~/.jigdo-lite and then download the CD with "jigod-lite http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/lucid/alpha-3/lucid- alternate-i386.jigdo". Let me know if you prefer to deal with this as a separate ticket. ** Changed in: apt-cacher-ng (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: apt-cacher-ng (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Changed in: apt-cacher-ng (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Triaged -- update-manager -d fails when using apt-cacher-ng https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/334761 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
