I've just pinged the openchrome developers, but nothing has moved in the last 12 months. See also this e-mail: http://wiki.openchrome.org/pipermail/openchrome-users/2009-February/005327.html
I think the decision to use 3D acceleration for netbook-launcher was ill-devised, given that a large number of netbooks running a large family of VIA chipsets do not have 3D acceleration, and probably won't have it for another few years. It is embarassing to suggest UNR to a friend and then see him struggle with 5 seconds delays to highlight an element in netbook-launcher. I suggest you revisit your decision and rewrite netbook-launcher without 3D acceleration (or at least provide a fallback when there is no DRI). -- [P4M900] UNR jaunty: Slow interface, high CPU load https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/358793 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
