Hi, I've tried lucid a couple of days and Xorg is using about 240-270MB virtual memory (120-140MB resident), which is much better than the 1.5GB it used on karmic, but I'm not sure if the bug is fixed, or whether I just need to run it a while longer.
I tried running okular with the pdf files mentioned above.
