Sebastian: Checking again, I still get the same error when I try to tun the update... I checked my internet connection with Firefox and that works fine...I just updated another machine running 6.10 Edgy Eft and it worked like a charm... The version of Ubuntu on the machine that is failing is Dapper Drake and is the AMD64 version of 6.06 desktop if that helps...don douglass, bdconsults, wc, pa usa
