Public bug reported:
After doing a dist-upgrade (through Update Manager) from Edgy to Feisty
today and rebooting, graphics in Gnome is very slow.
Also, some buttons get "scrambled" with black dots (will submit
screenshot).
My only customization of xorg.conf is:
Option "RenderAccel" "On"
Option "AccelMethod" "EXA"
Graphics card:
ATI Technologies, Inc. Radeon 330M/340M/350M (RS200 IGP)
I believe this has something to do with AIGLX.
Enabling desktop effects only makes the experience even more slow.
