hi all, I had the same problem with my Toshiba P100 (PSPA3A-05S00P) Notebook running the Kubuntu Dapper was no problem with WLAN kill switch on. running Edgy with kernel 2.6.17-11-generic (CD image from http://cdimage.geole.info/) failed with the mentioned lockup.
