I have the same behaviour for fresh installation of 9.10 and one encrypted partition (encrypted swap works fine since it does not need password). However, when I put bootwait for my cryptohome device boot process does not decrypt the partition and hangs. I checked correctness of the password manually (cryptsetup luksOpen, mount, etc).
