Scrolling is still slow on my iBook G4 with an Mobility Radeon 9700 (using the
free driver).
I have all the latest updates as of now installed including mesa 6.5.2.
Following is my device section in xorg.conf.

I really hope that this bug could be solved before release, since it
makes the desktop effects unbearable for everyday use.
