Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

The white icons do not show up well on low contrasts screens. (i.e. Asus Eee
1005ha)
Some of these 'white icons' are, the ubuntu logo, power icon, accessibility
icon, etc.

Icons should be changed to a more visible color, that is more different
than the current light grey background, to create more contrast, and
therefore visible.

For example, at its current color, on a Asus Eee 1005ha, it is about
only 10% visible, maybe even less, depending on screen angle.
