Public bug reported: Problem: Gnome-panel goes to infinite loop --> panels stop working.
Expected result: Another top panel below default top panel with autohide property (more room for items). Or error message about invalid configuration. Steps to reproduce problem: 1. Create new panel. 2. Set panel orientation to top (while there is already default panels top and bottom) and check autohide. Way to fix infinite looping: 1. Open terminal. 2. Launch gconf-editor and remove just added panel from /apps/panel/toplevels. 3. Kill gnome-panel ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gnome-panel hangs with invalid configuration https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/543445 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
