The bug 535177 is about the red color outline of the password entry box.
Which is what you also seem to imply with "there is a reddish border around
the password entry area" .
1: Kindly attach a screenshot of the problem you are describing
2: Mention how this bug is different from the bug 535177 , you mention
"background color which is different than the rest of the dialog" , not sure
what you mean by that?
