1. I can't take a screenshot apparently. At least hitting print screen doesn't work when the authentication dialog is up.
2. Ok. As simply as I can describe it: the authentication dialog as a whole is partially transparent. The area of the dialog that surrounds the text entry widget and contains the red border *does not* have a partially transparent background. It's hard to describe, but fairly easy to see. That's the best I can describe it, but perhaps you can figure out a way to take a screenshot?
