I wonder why i m reading about alsa, amixer here. This is a bug report about a pulseaudio bug and to turn off pulseaudio is no way to solve the problem. It is just a way to make the system usable again. I would like to help somehow, I m not a programmer, just a user. If you need some files or system specifications I would try to help. I used Ubuntu from 6.06 to 8.10 but now i m a bit shocked and demotivated, I stopped to recommend Ubuntu to other persons.
