likewise needs upstart scripts.

For a workaround that is less manual on each startup (and could break
other services with only sysinit scripts),

change:
start on filesystem and net-device-up IFACE=lo
to:
start on filesystem and net-device-up IFACE=eth0 #or whatever is your main 
interface

in /etc/init/rc-sysinit.conf
