Binary package hint: banshee
Banshee 1.5.6-1 fails to connect to the internet when a proxy is
required for connection, despite the proxy being set in Gnome. No proxy
configuration dialog is offered to the user, either.
I am using Ubuntu 10.04 fully updated as of post timestamp.
