Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox
Hello, The drag and drop features for Firefox 3.6 are partially broken in Ubuntu (and Kubuntu) Lucid Beta 1 with all available updates applied. The ability to install addons by dragging and dropping them into the addons window rarely works and the ability to drag and drop URLs onto the desktop to create internet shortcuts rarely works too. The problem also occurs with new firefox profiles. If any other users here need to know a work around for installing addons, I am now temporarily installing my favorite downloaded addons by right clicking on them and choosing to "Open with Other Application", then selecting "Firefox". Firefox is not showing any errors when run from the terminal.
