Evan, I tested the new build and I didn't encounter any problems with "try ubuntu" or "install ubuntu" keys (tested several times). I did find another bug which I can reproduce each time (even in debugmode!). I you happen to click the "red cross" of the dialog ( be it by accident or intentionally, as I did) a new dialog pops up "Do you really want to quit the installation now?". If you click the cancel button, then system hangs.
I tried this condition in the debug-mode (start terminal, enter ubiquity -d).
