Public bug reported: Binary package hint: firefox
It is quite impossible to distinguish between a firefox disabled menu entry and an enabled one without hovering the mouse over it. Using ubuntu 10.04 beta1 live cd. See png attachments: try to tell which entry is disabled in firefox screenshot and rhythmbox (or any other application with menus) for example.
