It's way past visual freeze, and this will introduce more testing, more
bugs, etc... This is not a bug fix, this is a feature. We are weeks past
feature freeze. We are locked, down and we are going getting ready to
ship.
In terms of "This issue needs to be resolved in 10.04 lucid." I am
resolving the issue by postponing this bug fix to 10.10. In the meantime
there is both a work around and a patch.
