Webcams, which worked flawlessly in Ubuntu 9.10 providing no (black) or green
(or wrong coloured) pictures in 10.04 Beta.
I work on a Dell XPS 1530 Laptop with Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT. Tested with
Nuveou driver and Nvidia 173 and 195 driver with and without desktop effects
activated.
I have upgraded from 9.10 to 10.04, running the latest Kernel now:
2.6.32-17-generic-pae #26-Ubuntu SMP Sat Mar 20 01:28:23 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux
All of my webcams doesn't show a correct or no picture with 10.04 anymore, no
matter which drivers they use. Had no problems with them with 9.10. The cams
are all recognized though correctly.
I tried those cams (drivers in brackets):
