Retested in U10.04 i386 beta. My sound card still cannot play nice
songs. I hear sound but it is not good, like buffers are played in
random order or some buffers are lost.

In the case you will give me some reference sound file, I can play it and
record my audio output for your analyze in Audacity or similar tool. I think
good test file could be:
1) sine wave of well define frequency - to test continuity and timing/frequency
2) sine wave of increasing frequency - to see if buffers are lost or order of
buffer is changed

Don't you miss a suite to test audio in Ubuntu?? Something more serious
than checkbox that just play sound check with user if HW is OK.
