With
linux-image-2.6.33-020633-generic_2.6.33-020633_i386.deb
from
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v2.6.33/

The video signal arrives to the external monitor earlier in the start-
up. i have ati R500. ok focus.

first attempt:
14:53:.. start upload
14:54:50 bandwidth drop
14:55:52 connection self-healed but transfer was lost

second attempt:
14:58:30 start upload
14:58:43 bandwidth drop
14:59:48 bandwidth up
15:01:53 bandwidth drop
15:02:56 transfer lost (this is windows server saying "can't copy the-file: The
specified network name is no more available")
15:04:33 the connection is working. due to earlier self-healing.

third attempt:
15:05:52 start upload
16:02:50 still uploading. 3.1 GB so far. best result so far.

i have to leave. i will repeat this same test tonight to see if the
third time's the charm again or what. (thank you wordreference)
