Thanks Julian. I fixed the missed api adaptions in the main branch. As a side note: The show blocker for a release of the 0.2.x branch was a debconf proxy race which seems to be fixed now. So await a release soon.
Your propossed patch doesn't provide "any" benefit in the 0.2.x branch since the old api is still available. So why touch any code?
