Thanks Simon for packaging this for Lucid, much appreciated.

My currently installed resolvconf package notes the following contacts as 
maintainers:
Maintainer: Ubuntu MOTU Developers <ubuntu-m...@lists.ubuntu.com>
Original-Maintainer: resolvconf maintainers 
<resolvconf-de...@lists.alioth.debian.org>

So... you could try sending a notification to the MOTU devs, but they
should have been made aware through this launchpad system already. The
whole MOTU thing looks like a catchall anyway, so I think resolvconf in
Ubuntu is just a Debian copypaste job. They should rename to COTU (Copy
Of The Upstream). I think you'll have more luck contacting the debian
maintainer...
