Public bug reported: Using kernel vmlinuz-2.6.32-18-generic, the USB keyboard is not recognized during boot.
Symptoms: 1) If I boot using init=/bin/bash, I cannot type anything on the bash prompt when it appears 2) I cannot send alt sysrq sequences during boot 3) I cannot send alt ctrl del signal during boot, which is a blocker for me since I am encountering #545536 (something mysterious blocking during boot that needs alt ctrl del to get past) Using vmlinuz-2.6.31-20-generic, these issues do not occur. ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- vmlinuz-2.6.32-18-generic does not recognize USB keyboard during boot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/553299 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
