I could not reproduce the bug on my system (Edubuntu 6.10, gnome 2.16.1, kernel 2.6.17-11-386)
I tried the following steps: 1. Created a .c file in geany. 2. Added some content and saved it. 3. Opened the same file in gedit, edited (added a line) and saved it. 4.
