Similar issue here. Asus 1201N, Ubuntu 9.10 installed, fully updated. BIOS rev. 0324 Selecting restart will cause the netbook's bios to be reset, prompting you to enter it by pressing F1 when the machine restarts. Selecting Turn off will not cause this. Do not recall if memory value is shown correctly or not.
