I'm currently using an updated feisty. The Samsom CO1U usb is accessed with alsasrc device="hw:1,0". Actually my usb webcam's microphone has the same problem. When plugged in and selected, only Ekiga gets some input. When both are plugged in the second one is device="hw:2,0".
