This costs unnecessary CPU cycles. The format for this file is very
precise: full path to the current default-display-manager.

No more and no less than that.

Sorry, but really, expanding the requirements of that file beyond the
scope would raise a lot more questions, like say, what happens if there
is another line underneath the match, or what if there are multiple
matches in general....
