Public bug reported: Binary package hint: live-initramfs
i installed lucid (beta 1) from a usb stick on a sd (mmc) card. the installation went ok and seemingly used the latest files (connecting thru network fine). the resulting system did not start, because the sd card was not found (it should be /dev/sdb). it seems that the installatin system does not detect that i was installing on an sd card and did not produce the initramfs with the correct settings (i think that sdhc sdhci_pci mmc_block). can this be fixed (or at least a warning produced with some instruction how to proceed) thank you - i look forward to test further! andrew ** Affects: live-initramfs (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- install lucid sd car - no kernel support for mmc device? https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/557574 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
