Public bug reported: goes for both: ndiswrapper via apt and ndiswrapper 1.38 downloaded from sf.
driver used: http://support.dlink.com/products/view.asp?productid=DWL%2DG132 as soon as i plug in the wlan-dongle, system freezes, only mouse cursor is moveable. no possibility to restart, no ctrl+alt+backspace, and so on. if plugged in while starting, system startup stops and freezes at "BUG: soft lockup detected on CPU#0" no chance to reboot except for the power button. additional info: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/ndiswrapper-1.38$ sudo make uninstall NOTE: Not all installed files are removed, as different distributions install ndiswrapper files at different places.
