There don't appear to have been any interesting commits to the driver
between our snapshot and Debian's. It's likely there's something else
at work here.
Would you be able to build the packages from the xorg-edgers PPA
locally? The PPAs don't build for PPC, sadly. That's a newer snapshot
of the nouveau driver parts; if that works then we know there's some
fixes missing from Lucid.
