Just to be sure, i created another user-account. It didn't suggest to use griffith anymore. (it was not in the right-click menu)
But it was associated though! If I did a right-click properties .. and went to the open-with tab, it showed. I wanted to create a screenshot from that account though, but wasn't able (seems gnome-screenshot doesn't work with desktop-profile based user account; i've filled a bug about that too). So you just have to take my word for it. It really is associated. How can I see if its the autodetection?
