I just tried this and it worked for me, as well. Kudos! Actually, I renamed the file (above) and it was regenerated during the next boot -- only, now it works, e.g. no desktopcouch-service crash/dialog box. Perhaps this will help: The content of the original file (that crashes) was simply '1837' The content of the new file (that doesn't crash) is '1528' Heh!
